Introduction: UK-based building products manufacturer Wetherby Group upgrades waste management with a new Riverside RWM75 vertical baler, slashing waste volume and reinforcing its sustainability commitment.Body: The RWM75 now processes plastic and cardboard waste at Wetherby’s UK site, producing ~10 plastic bales (75kg each) and 8 cardboard bales (75kg each) monthly. Each bale averages 12 cubic feet, cutting storage space and labor costs. All baled materials are fully recycled, aligning with the group’s zero-waste goals. “Riverside’s reliability made them our top choice,” said Andre, Wetherby’s operations manager.Closing: The investment is expected to reduce waste hauling costs by 35% annually while improving workplace safety.
